Factual Recount Text

Jenis kedua adalah factual recount text ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan atau menerangkan sebuah kejadian yang terjadi secara faktual, contohnya seperti kejadian ilmiah dalam ilmu pengetahuan atau kecelakaan dalam laporan kepolisian.

Imaginative Recount Text

Jenis yang terakhir adalah Imaginative Recount Text, jenis yang terakhir ini bertujuan imajinatif, yakni menuliskan peristiwa imajinasi dari pengalaman si penulis dari masa lalu.
